A 2 hour course for parents and carers of babies and young children, delivered by Paul from Foremost First Aid Training.
The course will use a variety of presentation, demonstration and hands on practical work to equip you to deal with a range of emergency situations.
Non-walking babies welcome. Feeding, changing etc during the session is not a problem at all.
We suggest a £15 contribution for this course.
We work hard to fundraise as much as possible from grants to keep donations to attend our sessions optional and support open to all local families who need it. However, please bear in mind that this is an ongoing challenge and we are trusting our lovely community to work with us on this too. We can subsidise the cost of a small number of spaces, so if the £15 contribution would prevent you from coming please enter whatever amount you feel able to - no judgement, we know funds can be tight, especially on maternity leave. However, if you can pay the contribution towards this course, please support your fellow mums/dads and do so, or it will become unsustainable for us to continue to run it at a low cost for all. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Didcot Baby Monday is a small charity and our remit is for families in Didcot and surrounding villages (Sutton Courtney, Chilton, Harwell, Steventon, Milton, Culham, Blewbury, N/S Hagbourne, N/S Moreton, Upton, Appleford, Long Wittenham). We would love to accommodate families from a further afield but unfortunately we do not have capacity at this time. Please answer the questions when you book - in order to manage demand and meet our grant funding conditions your booking may not be accepted if you do not have a postcode in the area above.
