Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health
Accredited by Ofqual, this course is suitable for everyone but has been designed to help employers to provide a positive mental health culture within the workplace; and to provide learners with comprehensive knowledge on a range of the most common mental health conditions and the skills to be able to act should a condition be suspected.
Join us at Kettering Park Hotel for this training course which is socially distanced in a Covid-19 safe environment; please use hand sanitisers and wear a mask when entering the hotel, and within the communal areas.
Learners undertaking this course will be considered First Aiders for Mental Health and be a point of contact within the workplace to help and support those with a suspected mental health condition.
The qualification lasts 3 years. This course also covers the effects of drugs and alcohol and provides learners with the skills and knowledge to assist employers in implementing a positive mental health culture to support employees within a workplace. A written test paper concludes the course.

Course Instructor
Dominic Greenwood's key attribute is his extensive knowledge of health and safety, compliance, training, project management, client relations, systems and legislation. He manages HR Solutions Health and Safety division, HSE Solutions, to support organisations in complying with legislation; as well as de-risking their workplace from accidents. Dom is also responsible for developing the Safety Training academy to train and develop staff; as well as coronavirus procedures and staff guidance. Dom’s Health and Safety qualifications include NEBOSH in Safety and Fire. He also holds awarding body training qualifications to teach First Aid, Health & Safety, Fire Safety and Safeguarding.
