Overview

Join the Ramblers and some first aid experts as we look at first aid on group walks

First aid awareness and skills are an important factor in leading group walks, but what you need to know can vary based on the type of walk you are leading, the terrain, your walkers and even the time of year you are walking!

In this special event, we’ll talk to some outdoor first aid experts to discuss first aid on group walks and get some tips on selecting training providers and first aid kits. We’ll also open the floor so you can ask the panel your own questions.

Joining us for this event are:

  • Rupert Goolden: founder and lead trainer at Really Good First Aid which runs first aid courses in the South West. Rupert has over 15 years' experience in first aid and is a dedicated outdoor enthusiast.
  • Louise Worsley: founder of Worsley Training which delivers a wide variety of First Aid training to various organisations including businesses, schools and charities. Louise is a qualified teacher with 15 years of hands-on experience as a global expedition leader and parent.

Please note: This is not a First Aid training session

The session will be hosted on Zoom. Sign up now and we’ll send you the joining link via email a couple of days before the event.

We can’t wait to see you there!
