The Path to Work project aims to tackle unemployment, in-work poverty, increased difficulties and economic disadvantages as a result of the Covid-19 crisis by upskilling, reskilling and supporting Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) people aged 19 years and over, who are living in Leeds.
Services provided until end of March 2021:
• One-to-one guidance and support
• Support to access training opportunities to learn new skills or improve skills for a better job.
• Help with job searching;
• Help with completing applications;
• Help with interview preparations;
• Activities to develop confidence and resilience at work;
• Activities to improve mental health and well-being;
• Employer talks on opportunities within their businesses/organisations.
• Coaching and mentoring to help overcome additional barriers and tackle discrimination.
