Event description
How can we support the sustainability of MSK Services in Humber Coast and Vale as we develop new FCP roles?

About this Event

What

The workshop aims to bring together those with an interest in MSK services, including providers of MSK services, acute trusts, GP’s and CCG’s along with input from our local universities and Health Education England to

• explore the role of the FCP’s and requirements

• consider the workforce challenges in growing this workforce

• consider how we can integrate FCP’s with MSK services across HCV

• ensure we have fair access to resource across HCV

Why

First Contact Practitioners (or Physiotherapists) roles have been developed in a number of areas, including locally, supporting primary care. NHS England set an ambition in the NHS Long Term Plan to achieve full access for the population to an FCP by 2024. To support this Primary Care Networks will be able to receive funding towards one FCP per PCN from April 2020.

Format of the Day

This event will give you the opportunity to engage with and offer feedback as we develop our Partnership Long-term Plan.

An agenda will be shared nearer to the workshop.

Lunch and an opportunity to network will be provided from12.30pm.
