With this in mind, the FSB has been working to identify ways in which businesses can collectively upskill their staff to sell effectively on sites such as LinkedIn, Twitter and even Facebook, as well as using traditional methods.
Furthermore, it is vital to regional economic growth that the business community’s strategies are geared up to achieve the four cornerstones of effective communications:
1) Assist in securing more customers;
2) Engage with and retain existing customers;
3) Communicate the company’s policies, brand messages and services;
4) Enable the business to become a more diverse and inclusive organisation.
