Based on feedback from teachers, we are putting on a number of sessions throughout the year to help you deliver the First Give programme effectively in your school. The sessions will be led by teachers who have coordinated the programme in their schools to the highest standard. Topics covered will be best practice generally but will cover:
-Coordination of staff
-Coordination of charity visits
-Buy in from students
-How to go further for example with fundraising
-How to deliver a great final
There will also be time to chat with other teachers about how they run the programme and share best practice more casually.
This session will be led by Steph Fuller from Queens Park Community School, She ran the programme in year 12 with incredible success in the schools first year with the programme.
Food and (soft!) drinks will also be provided
