About this event

Business • Environment & Sustainability

Join us for a walking workshop and Thames boat trip. Together with a group of cross-sector professionals, we’ll look at the roles people play in driving systemic change, and the skills that support them - evidenced by the complex urban systems all around us. You’ll connect this directly to your own work and experience.

What you’ll gain

💡 A close-up view of two major urban infrastructure projects. We’ll use them to think about how scale, complexity and time shape decisions, and how these projects connect to both nature and local contexts.

🔗 Space to exchange ideas with others working across policy, education, business, and community networks. Compare perspectives and reflect on what skills are needed to drive action where you are.

🌍 Practical insights into working with complexity as a green competency. This outdoor session is designed to spark new thinking on the skills needed for sustainability and climate action at every level.
