About this Event

In times where all challenges are global in essence, it is becoming even more important to strengthen international collaborative working. Scientists should take a role model in defending the values of an open society.

The transCampus that we have established is our answer to this era of global change and challenges. The transCampus will host a series of talks on inspiring topics of our time.

Inspired by the theory developed by Israeli author and historian Yuval Noah Harari according to which Homo sapiens is evolving to what he calls the “Homo Deus”, a group of international experts will discuss fundamental questions of the new millennium.

In this symposium, renowned speakers from King’s College London and Technische Universität Dresden will debate possible scientific advancements and their moral implications for human development.
