About this event

In Scotland, all learners are entitled to learn a language (L2) from Primary 1 onwards and a second language (L3) no later than Primary 5.

The aim of this online workshop is to increase the confidence of teachers beginning to teach languages at primary level. Together we will:

  • explore simple ways of incorporating taught languages into daily life in primary classroom
  • hear from practitioners who will share examples of their practice
  • signpost no and low cost language upskilling opportunities

Feel more confident to take language learning forward in your classroom or school.

The workshop will take place on Microsoft Teams and will not be recorded.

The University of Strathclyde is committed to transparency and to complying with its responsibilities under data protection legislation. Read our full privacy notice.
