Description

Home-Start Stroud District is holding a conference to look at the rising number of children coming into care and whether better community support is needed.

Speakers include:

  • Anthony Douglas CEO of Cafcass

  • Professor Kate Morris Head of Social Work at Sheffield University and author of recent research into this topic

  • Annie (a mother who lost her children through the courts and then had them returned

  • Dr Freda Gardner Psychologist and court expert.

Social workers, magistrates, lawyers children’s guardians, charity and other family support and health professionals are very welcome.

The event is non profit making and money raised will go to the Home-Start Stroud District scheme.

Early Bird tickets are available before 1st May on eventbrite.
