First Timers Bass Guitar Workshop
Sun 16 April 2017, 13:00 – 15:00 BST
Bass Guitar workshop as part of FIRST TIMERS 2017 from John Andrews!
In this workshop John will cover all the basic skills you need to get started - including bass and amp set-up, standard and drop-tunings on 4 and 5-string basses, re-stringing, plectrum vs finger playing (including unique approaches for speed), and fun with pedals (including distortion, delay, reverb and noise making!) John will run through some exercises, teach some simple riffs and help you play along to some classic tunes! Bring your earplugs, enthusiasm and questions, and we'll supply the rest! (If you have your own bass guitar, or access to one, feel free to bring it, but don't worry if not - everything will be provided for you to try.)
If you would definitely like to attend this workshop but the ticket price/booking is inaccessible to you, then please email firstname.lastname@example.org to book a concession place.
