Event description

Description

Songwriting Workshop from Lucy Anstey of original First Timers bands PRIMETIME and TILTED ACRES and Maria Tedemalm of Gold Foil and Es!

The workshop will be discussing different kinds of songwriting styles, how to start if you are stuck and questioning what a song is, and what it can be.
Lucy and Maria will share some of their own experiences writing their first songs, and the various ways they approach writing.

If people want to bring songs they have started but are not sure what to do with, then they are encouraged to bring them along and they can be worked on if they want to, but it is not compulsory.

Sharing lyrics can be daunting at first, so first timers unite! Be bold! Write!

If you definitely want to attend this workshop but find the ticket price/booking inaccessible then please email firsttimers@diyspaceforlondon.org to book a concession place.
