Description

I’m very excited to announce that in conjunction with the RBS Focussed Women’s Network, we will be presenting an important panel discussion:

We require the competitive edge in business more than ever before but are the leadership in our businesses actually “Fit to lead?”

Longer hours, food that is grabbed on the go, exercise that is crammed into frantic gym sessions and an attitude to sleep that it’s actually a bit of a waste of good working hours is eroding our business leader’s health and sanity. Man as a machine, but is the machine failing? How can we get businesses to see the value of Wellness in the Workplace if many leaders relegate their own health to the bottom of their business priorities?

The panel discussion, “Fit for Leadership” is facilitated by business guru and leadership expert, René Carayol – Broadcaster, author and business speaker (former Board Director of Marks and Spencer, PepsiCo and IPC Media, René is currently an adviser to, amongst others, The World Bank, The United Nations and Barclays) In René’s expert hands our panel will deliver a highly thought provoking, important and game-changing debate:

Rebecca Stephens MBE, first woman to climb Mount Everest, inspires heads of business to construct a leader’s mind-set
Clive Johnson, Head of Health Safety and Wellness at Land Securities – Safety, health and wellness influencer and change agent in the construction industry
Dr Bridget Juniper – Director at Work and Well-Being Ltd and Chartered Occupational Psychologist. Passionate about measuring health against performance in order for leaders to make the link between smart wellness and smart business
Dr Rosy Daniel, BSc MBCH, Health Creation at Work, Former CEO and Medical Director of the Bristol Cancer Help Centre, (now Penny Brohn Cancer Care) who has seen first-hand how our lifestyles and diet can both cause and reverse critical lifestyle diseases.
Kate Cook, nutritionist and wellness expert who uses nutrition as the foundation for change to physical and mental wellbeing, and works with progressive companies in the UK and Worldwide
