Description
“My current work focuses on the plight of animals facing extintion in the wild. Each large, same-size, canvas features the close-up face of an animal staring straight out at the viewer. In effect, I am painting a ‘death row’ of species. They are designed to grab attention, increase awareness and instigate action, before time runs out. I donate a proportion of the proceeds to conservation organisations that protect the animal painted.” Steve Nayar
An opportunity to learn how to paint animals in oils with a leading conservation wildlife artist.
"Last week we had the very amazing Wildlife Animal Conseration Artist Steve Nayar tutor a week long course…simply incredible!!! After spending a week researching the Mauritius Fruit Bat, the Flying Fox, he demonstrated every morning as he painted one. The other artists then painted their own animals using their photographic references with assistance from Steve. Thank you Steve !!! The course was so successful he was persuaded to come again next June and lead a course painting birds. There will be an outing the previous week to see endangered bird species of Mauritius with MWF." Artspace Mauritius
