An invitation to press pause, to look within and reconnect with your true being and your female community through the power of sharing.

About this event

The welcome to Circle extends to every part of you. Circle is a place to explore, respect and give voice to your whole true self, to be heard and held, to listen and to hold.

When women gather there is empowerment. Within the Circle you can find courage to release, to connect with any silenced emotions, muted celebrations or well kept thoughts.

Our ancestors gathered regularly in a Circle, to prepare food, worship and socialise. Today the opportunity for stillness and connection can elude us in our busy over scheduled lives. The demands and stimuluses of modern life mean we can find ourselves living in an almost numb state on autopilot.

Circles press pause and enable us to listen and to share our inner voice. The practice reconnects us with our community in a safe, unjudgmental and advice free space and in doing so frees us to explore the threads of our lives and to find empowerment.

What are the benefits?

• Circles provide a place to find courage through the power of sharing.

• This is an opportunity to gift yourself time and space to let go of any unmet needs or silenced stories without the worry of what it may mean for someone close to you.

• Coming together in an all-female space to listen and to find your authentic voice to share experiences, thoughts and musings nurtures a sense of connection.

• On top of the benefits of belonging, the sense of community you find can be a catalyst for letting go of a story you hold, to shift a perception or a spark renewed empowerment enabling you to move forward with compassion and self-love.

• Circle can work its magic in the most surprising of ways. Tending to our needs, soothing discomfort, and reminding us of our capacity for joy and of our strength.

• It also reminds us that we are not alone, we have people around us and we are connected with our body.

What to expect

The Circle is a 90-minute experience that begins with a meditation or similar senses grounding activity. The Circle is then opened to those who wish to share. It maybe that you are called to listening on the day, this is a space for that too. The circle is closed with a poem or song and a cup of herbal tea.

The Circle is secure and cosy. You are invited to use blankets, cushions or anything that makes you feel calm. We may use a talking piece such as a pebble or flower to hold whilst sharing or you could bring your own, something close to your heart that helps you to feel secure.

We are here to be present in the moment and to hold the women sharing. It is a place for compassion and respect and not advice or criticism. If something comes up that you feel needs more attention, we will discuss this after the Circle has been closed and I can support you in finding the right support.
