Whether it's a wonky toaster, a squeaky bike, or a tear in your favorite sweater, we've got you covered. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, meet like-minded individuals, and contribute to reducing waste in our community. *Portable items only. Make sure your things are clean. No zips, alterations or computing equipment. No commercial PAT testing or repairs for profit-making individuals or organisations.

Hinckley Fixers

We are a group of individual volunteers who like to share our skills to work with you and help you repair your broken household items so that they don't end up in the bin.

Bring a portable household item to one of our pop-ups and we will see if it can be fixed on the day and give you further advice if it cannot.

We will look at most household items for example:

  • electrical items
  • mechanical items
  • toys
  • tools (including sharpening)
  • clothes
  • soft household items

Unfortunately due to time restraints we cannot look at:

  • zips
  • laptops
  • consoles
