Join us for an evening of poetry commemorating World War One and discussing modern day conflict.The event will feature a range of top North West poets including Ben Mellor, Anna Percy, Gerry Potter, Sarah Miller and Tony Curry.

Anna Percy – co-founder of Stirred, Manchester’s influential pro-feminist spoken word night; author of ‘Livid Among the Ghostings’. "Will move you and make you think." - Steve Waling, poet & reviewer
Sarah Miller – playwright and poet whose work focuses on family and her own experience of growing up in a shipbuilding town with a history of weapons manufacture; debut collection, with Melanie Rees, in 2015.
Gerry Potter – a favourite son of both Manchester and his home town Liverpool, and creator and destroyer of the infamous gingham diva, Chloe Poems; latest collection ‘The Chronicles of Folly Butler’ due Nov 2014. "An inspiration." – Mike Garry, poet
