Flight Crowd is excited to present our ‘Propel into Future Flight’ series of week-long boot camps! This FREE to attend UK-wide experience allows young people (ages 14-19) to solve an industry challenge, collaborate with and learn from leading Air Mobility experts, and be empowered to pursue a career in Sustainable Aviation.
This initiative is funded by the ‘Reach for the Sky' Challenge organised by the UK Department for Transport (DfT) and UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Set to occur in 3 regions: London (June 2024), Manchester (November 2024) and Birmingham (January 2025), registration for the boot camp is already open to individuals, school representatives and STEAM Ambassadors and can be accessed through our website.
The boot camp agenda can be viewed on Flight Crowd's website (www.flight-crowd.com/bootcamp), but expect a virtual delivery on Mon-Thu (17:00-19:00 GMT) with a range of career workshops, Aviation presentations and group project work and the last Friday in-person day (10:00-16:00 GMT) at our regional location with group challenge presentations, hands-on activities and more!
Our next London boot camp will take place for a full week, on 17th - 20th June 2024 virtually) and 21st June 2024 (in-person, at the Royal Aeronautical Society). Should you be based outside of London, please reach out, and we will look into financially supporting your ambition and travel! Similarly, if you require access to digital technology for the virtual evenings, let us know and we will consider how we can help using our digital access grant.
