Flipped Learning: Community of Practice
Thu 28 January 2016, 12:00 – 13:30 GMT
What is flipped learning? How is it being currently used across Coventry University?
You are welcome to join our community of practice to build a network of support, sharing practice, resources and ideas of how to implement flipped learning.
The University Corporate Plan 2015-2021 and the University Education Strategy 2015-2021 both recognise that the education landscape will change over the period to 2021, with flipped learning playing a significant role in that change.
It is recognised that across the University there is a wide range of staff engaged in the using flipped approaches and others interested in adopting this approach. The Disruptive Media Learning Lab is supporting the development of flipped approaches across the University. As part of this support the DMLL is initiating a Community of Practice, to provide a network through which practice, ideas and resources can be shared.
This meeting will share the results of the flipped learning survey that was conducted in December 2015; providing an indication of current practice across the University and how flipped learning is being interpreted.
If you are interested in flipped learning, as an existing proponent or as a potential development in your practice this event will provide an opportunity to hear about practice across the University, meet peers also interested in flipped and learn about what support is available for flipped learning.
