About this event

The event will cover Apollo’s emerging research into commercial floating wind development. The state-of-the industry will be shared from floating wind demonstrator feedback, covering both successes and failures.

Real-world case studies will be used to highlight major engineering bottlenecks that must be addressed to build floating wind at scale – including ports, structures, and offshore operations. Once the floating structures are in place, they have to withstand the harsh North Sea environment for decades, which presents severe operations and maintenance challenges. Smart engineering solutions to each of these challenges are then presented.

Tea, coffee and sandwiches will be available from 17:30 with the event presentation starting at 18:00
