As part of the Flock Weekender, we’re gathering in Highgate Wood on Sunday, 5th October – one of London’s most beautiful ancient woodlands, rich with wildlife, towering oaks, and autumn fungi. 🍂
📍 MEETING PLACE: The information hut next to the café in the park.

🚶 WALK START: 11.30am
🌳 WALK FINISH: 3.00pm
EXPECTED SIGHTINGS:Great Spotted Woodpeckers, Nuthatches, Jays, Treecreepers, migrating Thrushes, and late-autumn fungi.
🚆 NEAREST STATION: Highgate (Northern Line, Zone 3)
🚻 TOILETS: Available at the Highgate Wood Café
✨ Don’t forget to wear suitable footwear, and bring lunch, water, and a rain jacket ✨
Please note: our insurance doesn’t cover anyone under 18, so we kindly ask you not to bring children. Pets should also stay at home as they disturb birds and local wildlife.
Highgate Wood is a rare slice of ancient woodland in North London – the perfect setting to close out Flock Fest with connection, birds, and community.
