In this LCF x Cass Art workshop, we'll delve into the world of flowers and natural forms, using intuitive mark-making and a variety of media to inspire our creations. Drawing from artists like Matisse, Ellsworth Kelly, Joan Mitchell, and Cy Twombly, we'll explore how rhythm, surface, and colour can infuse energy into our work.
We'll also examine how nature has influenced fashion design. From William Morris's intricate floral patterns to Dior's iconic lily of the valley motifs, nature's beauty has long inspired designers.
Through close observation of organic forms, you'll create expressive images that blend artistic techniques with fashion inspiration. Open to all skill levels. All materials provided.
