Learn how to arrange your own hand-tied bouquet from start to finish at our charity's sustainable flower farm.
Our florist, Clem, will demonstrate how to arrange a hand-tied spiral bouquet with our fresh seasonal flowers, and guide you through the key elements of flower arranging: cutting and conditioning flowers, design and choice of palate, composition and technique. Then you'll create your own masterpiece, with us on hand to offer further guidance and support, before learning how to wrap your bouquet like a professional, using our biodegradable paper.
You'll go home with a bouquet you're extremely proud of - and the confidence to make your own going forward. Additionally, you'll make a quick and beautiful jam jar flower arrangement to display at home.
This workshop will take place in our timber frame barn at Hartcliffe City Farm, overlooking our vibrant flower garden and set against the beautiful backdrop of the Dundry slopes on the southern edge of Bristol. It includes a tour of our flower farm, where Clem will talk about our charity's aims and mission and the importance of sustainable, low carbon flowers, and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
