Flourishing Lives Conference
Event Information
Description
Join us for the launch of the Flourishing Lives Charter for innovation and best practice in arts, health and wellbeing services for older people.
Flourishing Lives is a coalition of organisations taking a creative, relational approach to supporting richer, more independent lives for people over the age of 55.
Our inaugural conference brings together leading arts and health professionals, funders, front-line carers, policy makers, academics and senior practitioners to share knowledge and explore ideas in service innovation.
The programme will feature speakers from across the arts, health and social care sectors, exploring the future of service provision from a diverse range of perspectives and expertise.
The day will offer opportunities for networking and delegates can take part in discussions and workshops on how to identify and implement best practice.
The event will also mark the official launch of our accredited Relational Practice training, which provides a practical and theoretical framework for an interpersonal approach to service provision. The aim of the course is to allow a shared vision of this approach to be established across the sector, ensuring a more universal quality of service and a vital sense of professional support and development for providers.
The conference will cover the following topics:
