About Gemma O’Brien
Gemma is a typographic illustrator and mural artist currently based in London. Her bold and graphic pieces combine digital and hand made techniques, and often take inspiration from nature. Her work lends itself to small and large scale outputs, including installations and immersive experiences, with clients including Nike, Apple, Google and the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, amongst others. Gemma’s current postgraduate research forms part of an MSc in Psychology of the Arts, Neuroaesthetics & Creativity at Goldsmiths, where she’s exploring Flow State and its application in elevating illustration and art creation.
