Can I bring my child to this workshop?

Accepted Answer

This workshop is suitable for ages 16+ (16 to 18 year olds must be accompanied by a responsible adult who is also booked on to the workshop).  We apologise, but we are unable to allow younger children, or anyone not booked on to the workshop to remain in the craft room during the course due to space

Do you provide all the materials for the workshop?

Yes, we provide the materials for the workshop.  Aprons and tools will be provided.

What facilities are there at the venue?

Accepted Answer

We will be using the function room that belongs to The Gathering Space Cafe.  There is a WC at the function room, and refreshments may be purchased at the cafe and brought in to the function room.  There is no hearing loop or accessible WC.  Questions?  Contact hello@catkintreestudio.co.uk

I'm a complete beginner at this craft - does that matter?

Not at all!  We are very beginner friendly.  Please just bring your enthusiasm and creativity - and we will help you with the rest.

How many people are in each workshop session?

Accepted Answer

We usually have group sizes of up to 8 people, to ensure everyone gets enough craft tuition.

Can I book this specific workshop for a group of people?

We'd love to hear from you if you are interested in a group booking - for example for a party or corporate event - get in touch with us at hello@catkintreestudio.co.uk to discuss.  Please remember that we are unable to run workshops for under 16s - so apologies, no children's parties.

We'd like to book you for a bespoke craft workshop for a group - is that possible?

Absolutely! Please get in touch to discuss your requirement at hello@catkintreestudio.co.uk.  Please note that weekday daytimes are not usually available to book for a bespoke workshop, and availability of dates will depend on other activities already booked at The Gathering Space's function room.

Is there parking at the venue?

There is a public multi-story car park 1 minutes walk from the venue, with additional public car parks approximately a 5 to 8 minutes walk from the venue.  There are public disabled parking bays on the street outside the venue.
