Description

FLS Champions' Summit Scotland is a must attend event if you work in, are looking to improve your FLS in Scotland.

The FLS Champions’ Summit Scotland invites you to take part in a series of interactive educational workshops, lectures and debates on best practice in FLS. The Summit encourages peer support and networking opportunities for health care professionals and Health Boards involved in FLS with eminent clinical and scientific leaders as well NHS Scotland.

  • Receive updates on FLS provision across Scotland to support the development of FLS across Scotland
  • Question some of the most influential speakers in the field
  • Attend bespoke workshops on FLS and secondary fracture prevention

What you can expect:

You can look forward to an exciting combination of updates and educational talks on topics including:

  • FLS as a public helath issue
  • The FLS journey: where and when it all began and where we are now
  • Bone Health Assessments in hip fracture patients
  • Patient follow up and case studies
  • Falls prevention pathways

During the afternoon, three workshops will take place. All delegates will attend workshop A and EITHER workshop B or C.

  • Workshop A: Vertebral Fracture Identification
  • Workshop B: Service Improvement - How to get a yes!
  • Workshop C: Peer Review
