Event description

Description

Saturday, 3rd March 2018

From taking a packed lunch to school and carrying wet swimming stuff home, to the optical fibres that bring us the internet and the fleeces that keep us warm, plastics are a necessary part of our everyday lives. Young scientists will explore how some very clever chemistry makes sludgey slime and pencil case rubbers work. Make polymers from milk and a bouncing ball to bounce all the way back home!
