Flux Soup are an arts collective who collaborate to create unique performances and installations.

Bonesandtheaft are the musical incarnation of the Liver & Lights Scriptorium, John Bently’s long running chronicle of the ordinary people and things of London, past and present and future.

Observational, polemic, mythic, impassioned. commemorative, celebratory and following in the tradition of the Pamphleteer, the Ranter and the Penny Balladeer, Bonesandtheaft are these chronicles given musical form; turned into costumes, stage sets and ribald song by a disaparate collective of world class musicians... including Bird Radio on flute and vocals, Arthur Bently on saxophone, clarinet and synth, Ian Mckean on guitars, the legendary Admiral Lord Biscuit on drums and Billy Bones Himself on voice.

Ashley’s Fit Up is an ever-evolving musical/visual performance, originally created to fundraise money for Cressingham Gardens estate, a council housing estate like many others in London threatened by bulldozing and eviction. The project includes handmade puppets, animations and a collaged musical score created as a way to repurpose and reconnect disparate ideas through shared sonic memory and performance.

Like in an archaeological dig, the group relies upon fragments of evidence in the form of open-ended musical language, folk stories and inter-historical social rituals to patchwork their ideas together and weave them into a collective performance, that is in its nature intent on replacing industrial creative restrictions with play and inclusivity.
