Event Details

We’re off to the TT again for a day trip to watch the most dangerous sports event in the world. Not for the faint-hearted this one, over 240 people have died in the races history. Bike fan or not, this is quite a spectacle just don’t stand too close to the road side. Easy trip and helpful ATC and ground crew at EGNS.

There is nothing on Earth quite like the Isle of Man TT Races. No other motorcycle race is held on such a challenging track as the 37-mile Mountain Course with its seemingly never-ending series of bends, bumps, jumps, stone walls, manhole covers and telegraph poles. No other motorsport event can boast more than 100 years of such illustrious history, rich in tradition and legends, to have your name inscribed on a TT trophy is to sit with the gods.

The skill, bravery and concentration levels required are immense, with speeds approaching 200mph, and, while difficult to learn and even harder to come first, the rewards for winning on the world famous course are like no other.

There’s no entrance to watch the race from the road-side, grand stand tickets or VIP hospitality will cost you more. Visiting aircraft on races days need a slot time with ATC so book early! Accommodation is scarce so you’ll need to book a few months ahead to stay overnight or just go for the day like we did in 2014!
