About this event

Join us at Stretford Library and let your creativity flow at a special event for Flying the Flag for Green Libraries! Led by Cabasa Arts, this workshop will see participants design a bespoke flag promoting nature and the power of libraries to be used in a touring exhibition representing Trafford.

Working alongside professional artists, participants will be encouraged to think creatively about an environmental theme and turn their ideas into visual imagery which will feature in a final flag design to be made during Green Libraries Week (27 October – 2 November) . Each of the 10 local authorities in Greater Manchester will have their own unique flag, and this is your opportunity to contribute to Trafford’s.

Flying the Flag for Green Libraries is funded by Libraries Connected North West.
