This online open evening is for anyone interested in studying at Faith Mission Bible College—whether you're exploring training for full-time ministry, just exploring the idea of some theological study, or just want to find out more about what we offer.

2. What will happen during the online open evening?

You’ll hear about the vision and mission of the college, what our courses involve, and what life is like as a student. There will also be time for live Q&A, so you can ask your own questions.

3. Do I need to register in advance?

Yes, please register here on Eventbrite. Once you’ve signed up, we’ll send you the Teams link by email before the event. You won't need a Teams account to attend.

4. What kinds of courses does Faith Mission Bible College offer?

We offer a one year certificate course, a two-year diploma, a four year advanced diploma and a part-time two year foundation course. Our full-time courses contain significant opportunities for practical ministry experience, such as the five week spring ministry placement.

5. Can I study part-time or online?

Our part-time Foundation Certificate in Applied Theology takes place on a Tuesday during term time, 9am to 4pm. All of our courses are in-person, which we believe is the best way to be equipped for ministry, and to learn!

We’re located in Gilmerton, on the edge of Edinburgh, Scotland, just 20 minutes from the city centre, in a beautiful building set in quiet surroundings—perfect for study, prayer, and community life.

7. What’s the atmosphere like at the college?

We’re a close-knit and supportive community of students and staff from across the UK. Worship, prayer, shared meals, and real fellowship are all central to college life.

8. How much does it cost to study at FMBC?

FMBC does not hold a Tier 4 sponsor licence from the UK Border Agency. If you wish to come to FMBC from another country, please ensure you meet the criteria listed on our website: www.fmbiblecollege.org.uk/admissions/

Absolutely. We’ll include a Q&A session at the end, and you’re welcome to ask anything—from academic expectations to what a typical day looks like.
