Want to learn how to make a focaccia and the world's best sandwich?! Then join us for a seriously delicious evening of baking and cooking.
The Dusty Knuckle focaccia is a thing of a beauty: bubbly, oily, chewy and impossible to stop eating. Simply put: it deserves its fame and is the ultimate sandwich bread! Let us show you how we make it so that you're equipped with an amazing bread for life.
This is also your opportunity to build a world-class Dusty Knuckle sandwich. We'll use our focaccia and show you all the little things that make an amazing sarnie. The sandwich on offer is our house meatballs with tomato sauce, Ogleshield cheese, pickled cucumbers and creme fraiche, with a vegetarian option available by emailing ahead of time.
The class feature a make and bake focaccia to take home and a cook-your-own sandwich filling session. We will end with a sandwich dinner, which we'll sit down and eat with beer from our neighbours at 40ft Brewery.

The Dusty Knuckle is one of London's leading sourdough bakeries, providing freshly baked bread and pastries to some of the city's best restaurants, cafes and shops. Opened in 2014 in an empty shipping container, the bakery has now moved into a permanent space with a buzzing cafe offering world-class sandwiches. The bakery also works with disadvantaged youth by providing training in the bakery with the aim of offering legitimate employment opportunities. The bakery school opened in February 2019 in the container units, and teaches a range of bread, pastry, cooking and fermentation classes. Our classes are taught by highly experienced bakers with a passion for the classroom.
