Description


Come and learn the secret of Italian bread making using a biga starter or handling a very wet dough for light but fully flavoured bread. On the day we’ll learn more about some of these traditional recipes: Focaccia, Ciabatta, Tuscan Schiacciata with Grapes and Vin Santo and Pugliese bread using a Dutch oven technique.

We will start on the Friday evening (6-8.30pm) for a 'bread chat' and preparation of our starters called Biga. Light refreshement included.

On Saturday (10-2.30) we will meet again and make our final doughs. Some of them will be shared at lunch time with an Italian antipasto,some other will be taken home by you for more baking in the following 48 hours.

£ 90.00 per person. Bring a friend and save £ 5.00 on your booking; If booking through Eventbrite, please pay the full amount, the difference will then be refunded at the class.
