FOCUS GROUP: Becoming the Surviving Parent

Over the last two years we have been supporting parents living with cancer via our ‘Parenting with Cancer’ coaching programme. Parents report that participating in this programme significantly improved their confidence as a parent, their mental well-being and many aspects of their parenting role.

We know that there is a gap in support for parents who are on the journey in becoming the surviving parent. They face unique challenges and this focus group is to get to understand what those are. Being a part of this focus group is the start of co-developing a form of support that is effective to the needs of your community.

We welcome couples, co-parents and parents who became the surviving parent years ago for their important reflections.
