Focus group, Eastbourne

Your views matter - get involved in helping us to evaluate the East Sussex health promotion resource service

As part of our whole systems transformation programme, East Sussex Better Together (ESBT), and as part of joint working in the west of the county through Connecting4You (C4Y), we are working to transform how we support people to make changes to their lifestyles to improve their health and wellbeing.

A key part of this is enabling staff and volunteers across a wide range of organisations and sectors to incorporate prevention and health promotion advice and information into their roles. To support this crucial work we currently provide access to health promotion resources such as posters and leaflets, and loan equipment such as teaching aids, through the East Sussex Health Promotion Resource Service.

We want to make sure that health promotion resources continue to meet the needs of staff and organisations who currently, or could in future, use them. To help us understand the health promotion resource needs of colleagues in East Sussex we have commissioned Delta Public Health Consulting to undertake this work.

We’re asking everyone whose role includes promoting health to get involved, and help us to make sure that we shape the service to meet the needs of you and your colleagues

If you are a professional, practitioner or volunteer with promoting health as part of your role, we want to hear your views.

We have arranged focus groups to gather more in-depth information. Focus groups will take place in a range of locations across the county.
