Description

Audience Development is one of the strategic priorities of Cooperation Projects - the main funding opportunity in Creative Europe's Culture sub-programme. This day will explore both the theory and the practice at local, national and international levels.

Who is it for?

If you're considering applying for Creative Europe Culture funding, this session is a must. The next call for Cooperation Projects will open in Autumn 2018, and this is your chance to hear about successful projects, helping you shape your appliation.

Anyone in the creative, cultural and heritage sector who wants to hear about how to put audiences at the core of your work and organisation - big, small, rural or urban.

Anyone who wants to network with NI and European peers across the cultural sector and build relationships.

Timings

1030-1130: The European Perspective on Audience Development. A look at Creative Europe's Study on Audience Development and the lessons for arts and culture sector in NI.

COFFEE BREAK

1145-1300: Closer to Home: Arts, culture, heritage and gaming: speakers from across Ireland, North and South, will talk about their audience development work

LUNCH

1330 - 1345: Thrive's Top Tips for Audience Development Success

1345 - 1430: Making it Happen: A practical example of how councils and arts organisations can collaborate on a Creative Europe project

1430 - 1500: Next Steps and Closing Remarks
