Bluebeard is a story of extreme violence against women. Listen to Carmel's expert storytelling and discuss the story. Is it good for a woman to be inquisitive? Are men all either perpertrators or heros? Why does this story continue to be retold?
After we discuss these complex isuues there will be time to write your own response, or your own story, and to share if you wish to. You will leave with ideas about how stories influence our attitiude to gender and you will have been inspired to do some writing of your own.
This is part of a monthly series, you can join and leave at any point.
Online bookings only no tickets on the door
