Folkestone Community life Drawing

ABOUT:

Free community life drawing every Wednesday lunchtime in Folkestone from 12-1 PM at digital:glassworks in the Creative Quarter.

• Feel free to just turn up but where possible we are encouraging people to book their online free ticket here so we have a rough idea of numbers and how many chairs etc. to set up!

• FYI we can keep these sessions completely free as Creative Quarter have kindly provided us a space at digital:glassworks, also by bringing along our own art materials, keeping the sessions untutored and taking it in turns to strike a pose in place of a traditional life drawing model by holding short poses ourselves of 2/3/5 minutes long.

• ART MATERIALS:There will be some art materials provided for those that need them or are totally new to drawing but if you are able to - please do bring your own.

• A4 paper, pencils, a rubber and sharpener will be fine to start and feel free to bring some larger A3 paper, charcoal and fixative spray if you have some too.

• Please like, share, spread the word and hopefully see some of you there on your lunch breaks for a bit of weekly lunchtime life drawing.

• We'll be drawing inside the lower atrium space inside the digital:glassworks building (easily located on Google maps) in the Creative Quarter - see you there!

• ACCESSIBILITY:The space is fully accessible with an accessible entrance located on Mill Bay (you will need to press the buzzer to be let in) or down a short flight of stairs from the main entrance.
