Follow in the footsteps of rebels on the Pilgrimage of Grace
Wed 26 April 2017, 10:10 – 16:00 BST
Here is a great walk as part of the “Enjoy Spring in the Yorkshire Wolds” Campaign.
It is just over 8 miles long and relatively easy going with a few ups and downs.
Join a local historian for a walk inspired by the Pilgrimage of Grace that took part during the reign of King Henry VIII. We will stop for late lunch at The World Peace Café at Madhyamaka Kadampa Meditation Centre, where there is delicious vegetarian food to choose from the menu.
This walk is led by Malcolm Hodgson, the National Trail Officer for the Yorkshire Wolds Way
Meet at Pocklington bus station at 10.10 am to catch the EYMS bus to Warter at 10.30am
Please bring money for the bus and lunch.
