Event description

Join us on to explore the complicated ethical and financial considerations behind university funding.

About this event

This is a student-led tour that highlights the University of Oxford’s relationship with contentious sources of revenue. It explores controversial funding sources that give their name to buildings like the Said Business School and the Sackler library.

Participants will be challenged to explore the complexities of financial considerations and engage in conversations about both historic and contemporary wealth distribution networks.

The tour lasts for 1.5hrs. The meeting point is in front of the Said Business School, and will finish on Walton Street next to the Blavatnik School of Government. We will walk no more than two miles, but be aware that cobble stones and uneven pavement may restrict the accessibility of this event.
