Join us for a relaxed and conversational follow-up to the SGSAH Summer School workshop Place and Memory Methodologies (Part 1: Disorientations & Absences). This informal “Memory Clinic” is an opportunity for participants to briefly share how themes from the workshop—such as disorientation, absence, ruination, and fragmentary sources—intersect with their own doctoral research.
Whether you’re exploring memory through ethnographic fieldwork, archival traces, artistic practice, or conceptual frameworks, this is a space to reconnect, reflect, and exchange ideas. The session will centre on shared questions and methodological puzzles, rather than formal presentations.
Bring a coffee, a question, or a quote—and join the conversation.
Organised by Dr Safet HadžiMuhamedović & Dr Pablo Fernandez Velasco from the Centre for the Sciences of Place and Memory at the University of Stirling.
