Discover how to reduce stress and anxiety, in this 2 hour online interactive workshop

About this Event

Many of us have felt an increase of stress and anxiety during lockdown; such as poor sleep, racing thoughts, low mood or brain fog. We will help you identify how to feel calm and resilient through nutrition and self-help techniques that meet your individual needs.

Who are we? Registered Nutritionist Emma Dawson, and Health Coach, Shiatsu and EFT Practitioner Hannah Currant are bringing gems from their renowned Food and Mood course here. Combining their specialist expertise to bring you a two hour online workshop.

In this workshop you will learn simple tools, tips, and techniques, which can make an clear and lasting change to how you feel

  • Discover how you can support your stress hormones through making specific changes to your food.
  • Learn how to physically and emotionally alter your reaction to stress triggers, and immediately feel calmer using Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping), special acupressure points, and breathing techniques.

Emotional Freedom Technique (E.F.T.) or 'Tapping' is an easy to learn, simple yet powerful technique that once learnt, can be used any time, anywhere, to transform how you feel, physically or emotionally.

What will I need to take part?

  • All you need to join in is a laptop/tablet/phone/computer with access to a microphone and camera - this will allow you to be seen and heard during the online sessions. You will need a stable internet connection to use 'Zoom'
  • You will also need a private, quiet space where you will not be interrupted for the duration of the workshop, to support confidentiality - both your own and that of the other course participants.
  • You may like to have a pen and paper available to make notes ( a worksheet will be provided to download)
  • It is also advisable to have a glass of water to hand, and to wash/ sanitise your hands before the workshop begins, as EFT involves touching the face, head and upper body.

What should I do if I can no longer attend?

If you find that you are unable to take part please get in touch ASAP. We are unable to offer refunds if you cancel within 7 days of the event.
