Food Art Dinner

Our L3 Advanced Professional Cookery chefs will be presenting a unique gastronomic experience at The Restaurant SW4.As part of their course students need to demonstrate the use of creative planning and techniques.Inspiration was taken from paintings and sculptures - these ideas are then transposed on your plate on the evening.This research has informed a very exciting menu.Continuing in the Food Art theme the evening will start with short talk on Australian Art. Australian Indigenous Art has experienced a phenomenal Renaissance, and contemporary works reflect the extraordinary diversity and complexity of this art movement. Robert Norris is a collector with unique access to the Aboriginal communities in Central Australia, and has witnessed the creation of their 'Dreamings'. Chef lecturer Andrew Whitson will lead the culinary team on the evening and will be supported by Adam Byatt from Trinity Restaurant Clapham as the visiting guest chef speaker.
