Yes! Lots of free parking behind the centre

Can I bring my children?

Yes!  This event is specifically funded for families on a low incomes who are home educating their children and are looking for ways to help engage their children in money saving cooking activities.  We do require you to stay throughout the session and supervise your children.

Question 3

Will there be a practical cooking element to this session?

Accepted Answer

Yes!  The session starts with a theory element, where we reflect on our current food shopping, planning and cooking experiences.  But then we get down to the fun bit and cook some dishes which will hopefully inspire you and your children to cook more in the future!

Can you cater for allergies and special diets?

Yes!  Please tell us if you have any allergies or special dietary requirements and we will try cater to your needs.  As a general rule, we only make plant based and vegetarian dishes.

What age children can attend?

Accepted Answer

You know your children best - its a small group activity and we love to encourage all ages to get hands on with food.  We will be using induction hobs and sharp knives though, so please bear this in mind.  Also the start of the session is designed primarily for adults.

My child has additional needs, can we still attend?

Yes! We are totally inclusive and will endeavour to ensure your child is comfortable and engaged.  Please get in contact with any specific requirements.
