The Annual Gathering of Food Durham, the County Durham Food Partnership focuses on food and health this year. The 2016 Gathering is hosted by Durham County Council in Bishop Auckland Town Hall. Participants will hear from an impressive range of speakers:

- Gill O'Neill- Acting Director of Public Health for County Durham
- Dr Margi Lennartsson- Garden Organic Associate, Growing Health
- Dr Martin Caraher, Professor of Food and Health Policy, Centre for Food Policy, City University, London
The Annual Gathering will finish with a pulse-based lunch (2016 is the International Year of Pulses) and an opportunity to network with participants of the Growing Durham Annual Gathering which takes place in the afternoon. There will also be a 'market place' of relevant organisations and projects.
