This practical workshop aims to equip you with the tools and knowledge to understand and make use of common wild plants growing on your doorstep. You will learn how to tell a tasty plant from a toxic one! How to harvest, store and use your bounty. You will also enjoy a summer walk across the stunning landscape of Mortonhall’s 200 acre site (with views of the Pentlands and Edinburgh city) and hunt for tasty and medicinal forgotten plants, such as Dandelions and Sweet Sicily.
