About Dartmouth Park Talks
Dartmouth Park Talks provides a space for dialogue and discussion around the themes that impact on us all today. We believe it is only with strong well-thought through ideas of what we want from our lives, our society, our political systems and our economy that we will be able to create the society we want to live in. From feminism to environmentalism, from Brexit to the role of creatives, our convenings bring local experts, campaigners and ordinary people together to talk to each other, make connections and think afresh.
The Talks are run by two locals on a voluntary basis, Maya de Souza and Farhana Yamin. Maya works in public policy, and has a background in community politics, as a councillor and as a legal aid and trade union lawyer. Farhana Yamin is an internationally recognised climate change lawyer, author, speaker and activist. If you would live to contact us and help with the Talk or to give one, please get in touch!
