Food waste prevention workshop
Tue 28 March 2017, 09:30 – 13:30 BST
Learn how to prevent food waste and save your business money
This interactive free half-day workshop is specifically for SMEs that produce food waste, including cafés, hotels, retailers, restaurants and manufacturers.
Experts in food waste prevention will provide practical tips and tried and tested techniques that will help you go beyond basic compliance and simple waste management. They will show you how you can prevent food waste occurring in the first place so that you can slash costs and maximise your business’s profitability.
You will also get the chance to hear from other businesses in the Perth and Kinross area that have already taken action to reduce food waste, and hear first-hand about how their businesses have benefited as a result.
And remember, food waste may be costing your organisation a lot more than you realise. It’s more than just the payment you give to your waste contractor to empty your bin – estimates put the true cost of waste at 10 times your waste contract bill.
Register now to reduce your food waste and save money.
Limited spaces and priority bookings:
Preference will be given to delegates from small and medium sized enterprises wishing to attend the workshop for learning purposes.
Due to the popularity of Resource Efficient Scotland workshops, places are limited to two people per organisation in the first instance. Additional colleagues, students and individuals wishing to attend to network may request a place and, if space permits, will be able to join the training.
